.CAH receives special visitors
August 2007
This month the Children's Attention Home was very fortunate to welcome two special guests. Marshall and Gloria Doswell visited and toured the administration building and presented the Home with a $25,000 check. This gracious donation will go towards final building costs. CAH would like to again thank Mr. and Mrs. Doswell for their continued commitment and support of the Home.

Ronald McDonald House Charities awards the CAH Charter School The Children's Attention Home's Charter School received a check for $12,500 from The Ronald McDonald House Charities. This award will allow the school to buy computer software/hardware, and other necessary equipment. The Charter School thanks everyone at the Ronald McDonald House Charities and special thanks to Mr & Mrs. Sweetman for sponsoring this request. |

Administration Building nears completion Construction on the Children's Attention Home's administration building is well under way as the project nears completion. Thanks to the hard work of the J.M. Cope Construction Company, Inc. the administration building will be finished by the end of 2007. The 8,000 square foot building will house administrative offices, a commercial kitchen, dining hall/gym, laundry facilities, therapy rooms and classrooms for the CAH Charter School. |

| Fort Mill Church of God raises money for CAH August 2007 On August 3, 2007 Fort Mill Church of God held its first annual Golf Tournament benefiting CAH. Thanks to all that participated that evening for supporting the home and raising $8,000. |

| J. Marion Sims Foundation continues support! The J. Marion Sims Foundation donated $106,400 to the Home, which was used towards the construction costs for the new Administration building. Thanks to their continued support, construction of the Administration building is under way and will be completed by the end of the year.

CAH receives a grant from Food Lion Food Lion, LLC, generously funded a CAH grant proposal providing funding for the purchase of food for our children. This generous $5,000 award will help reduce our annual costs for food. Thank you again Food Lion!
